Downsizing

I recently discovered the "editing/curating your closet / french wardrobe" trend and have been really interested in implementing it to my own closet. I have so many clothes, but I still struggle in the mornings to decide what to wear. I usually end up putting together the same outfit. I feel like 80% of my clothes are unused and are taking up space that I can use for my growing handbag collection instead.

There are tons of blogs detailing the "rules" of how to edit your closet so I won't rehash it here. I'm pretty much set in terms of key clothing pieces (ex. quality leather jacket, tailored coat, black jeans), but I'm still looking for the perfect basic tees and a pair of good quality blue jeans. I guess it's good that the Aritzia Private Presale is starting soon as I'll be purchasing my foundational wardrobe items there!

Here's what I'm planning to buy during the Aritzia sale:

Aritzia Private Sale 2014

Pretty boring looking, but this is basically what I wear everyday. If you've read the old posts on this blog, you'll notice that the Mackage Kenya is back on the list. I actually sold my old one as it was too big for me.

I bought the Mackage Florica (picture below), but it's pretty casual looking. I might end up selling it once I get the Kenya.

  1. Oh I've been wanting to get a Mackage jacket! Haha it's kind of my dream item right now.

Also I can't wait for the Aritzia Private Sale! My shopping there has dramatically been reduced over the past two years, but it's what always keeps me coming back and I'm sure that's how I reach the "Quota" for the invite haha. I mean other than that I don't know how I even qualify!

P.S. It was nice stumbling onto your blog!
